What Will happen now that more colour has been added to shaded tattoo?
Hi! I had a tattoo three weeks ago and I felt that some more colour needed adding to it. The colour on this particular part of the tattoo goes from pink to purple. Today I had more colour added and the tattooist put pink all over the spot. I can see bits of purple coming through now, will this gradually continue so that the shading effect remains? As I guess this part of the tattoo will be healing all over again now, just like 3 weeks ago?
Also, I have a tattoo on my wrist. When is it safe to start wearing a watch again? And will this fade the design in time?

Sorry, prob not explained that well. This part of the tattoo has two colours mixed together, purple into pink. I felt that some skin colour was showing so today the tattooist put pink over this spot. It looks like he put it over all the purple too, so was wondering if the purple would eventually show through?
The shading should be fine, but it's going to be hard to tell until it's fully healed. Color can definitely look a bit off during the healing process, so my advice is just wait it out and see how it turns out. Your artist should do free touch ups anyway, so if something isn't right you can always go back.
And you can start wearing a watch as soon as the tattoo is fully healed. If anything, the watch will prevent fading, seeing as it protects it from the sun. Other than that, there should be no complications in regards to a watch.
