Will wrist weights build muscle or lose weight? also CTS?
I cant bring myself to doing weights even if its while listening to music or watch tv - I find it either boring, feel like its wasting my time or distracting. But i often run on the treadmill - it feels routinely and sort of good doing it.
But i'm pretty sure i'm slim enough and I don't like the idea of losing weight, so I was wondering would using wrist weights on my wrists and arms, very gradually but effectively tone the muscles or more likely to lose more weight because its like running/pushing with more weight than what my body actually is?
Also if it does tone, can wrist weights somehow lead to damage, like developing Carpal tunnel syndrome??
they do very little as they dont weigh much for starters, its hard to pack alot of weight into such a small space and still comply with regulations for health and safety. most of them weight what like 1kg each? what do you think that extra little bit of weight is going to do
and dont use the word tone it means nothing in relation to fitness
