Rolex – Datejust Replica
Rolex is a name that always has invoked admiration all these years. There have been other watchmakers in the world that have been doing business for longer than Rolex. But the kind of hold that Rolex has succeeded on having on the mind of the consumer - is without parallel. The Rolex Datejust watch line was launched during the time when the likes of Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman stalked the silver screen. That was an era of romance, and the World War having just ended, soldiers were returning from the battlefield back to their homes and their wives and their loves. I think the Datejust managed to capture the hearts of an entire generation of the day, because of its dainty looks and feel. It was a common sight at dealer showrooms for young couples to walk in, look at the Datejust perched on its mantel, ask the price, give a long sigh, and then walk away.
The Rolex Datejust also had an innovative date-changing system which would display the current date, and which also would change over automatically when the hour and the minute hands met at midnight. And of course, Rolex introduced several variants of the Datejust model, such as the Jubilee, the Turn O Graph, the Oyster and the Wgbezel. The ladies simply loved the Lady President, the Lady Jubilee and the Oyster models that the advertisements would splash on the newspapers. The ladies demanded, and where could men with thin wallets turn to? Enter, the Datejust replica.
