Good, inexpensive watch?
Where can I buy a good watch that doesn't cost more than $25? I really want a water resistant one. Are there any good eco friendly watches out there that are inexpensive? I was thinking about this one because I found a really, really good review on it- http://www.livecofriendly.com/afsowa.html. Are there any better water resistant watches out there? I like the ones that have the rubber bands because they don't itch or anything. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks a million!!
all reasonable watches have quartz movements these days, which are very reliable and shock resistant.
frankly, i'd go with Timex because they have a reputation to uphold, and have been at this a long time.
my preference is a cloth band that is not quite tight around my wrist.
it's washable, doesn't irritate my skin, and doesn't constrict my wrist.
but you do have to wash the band on occasion to keep it clean.
(it goes into the laundry with everything else, every year or 2 whether it needs it or not.)
after that, you're just looking at style, and mine is certainly not yours.
oh, and water resistant is good.
