Cultural events: food fair, steel pan jamboree, and music fest; last 1 week.
Date: 29; Christian; Navy; working out, martial arts, chess, outgoing; and laid back.
Me: 21; Christian; not a sports fan; outgoing; great cook and baker.

Well while you are not a sports fan, sometimes the point of a date is to do something that pleases the other person, even though you hate sports. I vote for baseball. I also like the idea of the food fair, the steel pan jamboree, but since the music fest is on the last week, you should do that now. Since he is in the Navy, he probably appreciates good cooked meals and baked goods. I was in the Air Force and my soldiers loved cookies a lot, since we didn't get them on the base. I think the hiking trail would appeal to him more then the sky ride. If he is on the ship a lot, he is probably confined, so anything that confines him or locks him it would be something I would avoid. I like the beach or hiking idea better. Some guys like bowling, or aquariums or museums, you would know if he likes that kind of thing or not. It would be hard to know if he enjoys going out to restaurants, or would rather eat a home cooked meal. Everyone likes ice cream, yeah. You probably like the performing arts, go there when he is shipped out, he probably wouldn't enjoy that. I would think that he would like things that decompress him from the Navy. He would like the martial arts, or running or hiking to get away from the stress. He needs a physical way to get rid of the stress of the job. Chess is a mental game, probably a tool to put the job behind him.
