Okay, this might sound a lot more crass than I want it to sound, but if I met a woman (getting back into dating soon hopefully) who is adverse to exercise, how can I motivate her to keep herself in shape, or maybe get in slightly better shape? I am not exactly mens health cover boy material, but have lost a lot of weight and I have adopted a lifestyle that is playing sports and lifting all the time and plan to keep it. Now obviously a woman who is into this would be great, but I dont want to dismiss someone just because they are not into it...So whats my best approach if this were to happen?
it depends on the why you would want her to get into shape. if you are worried about the health aspects of weight then start by encouraging her to take part in some of the activities you enjoy. you may find that she would open to exercising with you if she knows its because you enjoy her company and you want her to be healthy not because you want her to lose weight. then again if you are just worried about her looking better cosmetically then you should do some more work to yourself before you attempt to start dating. and im not talking in the physical aspect, i mean opening up your mind and coming to the realization that there is more to someone than what they look like. just because someone isnt into the same lifestyle as you doesnt mean you two couldnt work in a relationship. good luck to you!
